The black onyx deposit is rumored to be in the Black Lake region of Khundrakar. As you are well aware, our need at the present is not urgent, and we are more interested in the long-term stability of the site than a hasty acquisition. The dwarven laborers currently running the forge would be a pleasant bonus, but are not deemed absolutely necessary to the success of the venture, as it is always an easy matter to enslave good help.

p.s. Scouts have reported the possible presence of an agent of Nerull leading a band of orcs in the area for unknown purposes. Retain their services if useful. If not, have Slightfoot deliver the corpses to us as soon as possible, as Fansar has a new project underway and orcs would suit it nicely.
