Tenebrae’s Vision

September 15th, 2006

After the party finishes off the single-minded and somewhat psychotic priestesses of Blue, Tenebrae has an unexpected experience. (af)

As you finish off the last of the Priestesses, time seems to slow for you.  The world slowly dissolves into a field, a low hill dotted with a circle of standing stones, surrounded by tall green grass.

A huge figure stands in the middle of the menhirs.  His eyes are molten silver, his skin burnished bronze.  Feathered wings extend up and out from his back, and he twirls a wine glass in between his fingers.  You blink and are transported in front of the figure.

“You have opened the door, little human.  With this simple implement…”  He rolls the glass in his fingers and you see a deep, red wine within the glass.  Lapis motes shine brightly within the wine.  “You are closer than you think.  Do you have the courage to truly free me?”

With that, you experience a momentary disorientation, and are back in the blue world you have grown to loath.  No time seems to have passed.
